When Head Discomfort Just Won’t Go Away

Tension often starts deeper, involving the neck, scalp, and connected pathways, not just the surface.

Why Working Along a Pathway Matters

The head connects to neck and shoulders. Working along these routes relieves tension more effectively than targeting pain spots alone.

Guided by Traditional Acupressure Knowledge

TCM practitioners use specific points that lie along connective routes through the neck and head — such as:

  • Points around the temples

  • Points near the base of the skull

  • Points along the scalp line

These are commonly used in acupressure routines to support relaxation and tension relief.

You don’t need to memorize these names; the tool helps you engage these areas along the natural route of connected tissue and pressure points.

How to Use the Scalp Massager Along Head Pathways

—— TCM 7-Line Scalp Massage Method

  • Line 1: The Governing Vessel (GV / Du Mai): From the hairline at the forehead, straight over the top of the head, down to the base of the skull.
  • Line 2 & 3: The Bladder Meridian (BL): About 1.5 inches to either side of Line 1, parallel from the forehead to the back of the head.
  • Line 4 & 5: The Gallbladder Meridian (GB): From the temples directly backwards, along the sides of the head (above the ears).
  • Line 6 & 7: The Liver Meridian (LV) & Additional Pathways: These two lines extend from the inner points of the eyebrows, upwards and backwards over the top of  the head. They run between the Gallbladder and Bladder meridians.

Pro Tip: For best results, gently scrape along each line with your scalp massage tool 10-20 times, moving from the front of the head towards the back.

Why This Massager — Not Just Hands or Fingers

  • Deeper teeth: penetrate thick hair to reach the scalp, precisely pressing acupoints for a true massage rather than just gliding over the surface.
  • A long handle: you don’t need anyone’s help. It helps easily reach spots that are normally hard to get to.
  • A long handle: Thanks to the lever principle, you can apply deeper, stronger pressure with just a small wrist movement—perfect if you like a firm massage.

For Sustainable Comfort

Regular use along connected areas promotes gradual relaxation, better circulation, and sustained ease.

Safe Use Tips

This scalp massager isn’t just a tool — it’s a way to work with your body’s connected pathways.
Used regularly, it supports more than temporary relief — it helps you practice self-care with intention.
